India is referred to as the land of festivals owing to its rich
amalgamation of different cultures, ethnic backgrounds, languages, religious
sentiments, diverse history, and different traditions in all the states. All religions stress on humanistic values and celebrate
the spirit of kindness and
benevolence. Onam is the biggest festival
in the State of Kerala.
It is celebrated with great fervour and zeal by the people
all over the country. The grand
festivities of this ancient festival eliminate all the religious disparities and propagate
harmony in the society. People
of all religions, castes, and communities celebrate the festival with equal joy and
verve.
On the account of Onam 2021 our Annai Vailankanni College of Engineering conducted several Competitions in virtual mode on 20 August,2021. The winners are encouraged with certificates and memento.
