FRESHERS DAY 2021

The Department of S&H inaugurated the 13th batch of BE/BTech by conducting "Freshers Day 21" on 25/10/21 from 10.00 AM onwards. “Fresher’s Party” in any college is an event which every student eagerly awaits from their time of admission. The dress code for the fresher’s day was informed as “dress your best”. 

The Chief Guests were Dr. Pratheep V. Philip IPS, Director General of Police and Dr. James R. Daniel, Former Principal of Scott Christian College (Autonomous) Nagercoil. The program started sharp at 10.00AM at the College Auditorium by our Anchors Mrs. C. Annlin Sanju /AP/CE and Mrs. Renuka /AP/ECE. 

This was followed by lamp lighting by the dignitaries on the stage and one student and the parent. Mrs. Golding Sheeba/AP/Physics welcomed the Gathering with the Golden words. Dr. James R. Daniel started the first speech of the day. It was very enthusiastic for the students and parents. Chairman Dr. D. Peter Jesudhas delivered his presidential address on the stage. Principal Dr. Benham addressed the audience about the college developments. Dr. Pratheep V. Philip IPS delivered the Chief Guest Address. In his talk he guided the students how to perform in this New Gen Technology with quoting lines of his book “Filipism”. 

At the end of the function, Mrs. Shijula Lindry/AP/Chemistry thanked the chief guest, the principal, and the faculties, and the students at the college for their cooperation in making the function a success.  Program came to an end @ 01.00 PM. 

A Grand Lunch was served to all the Participants. All the departments jointly coordinated the program.  The Program photos were published in local newspapers like Dinathanthi & Dinakaran papers on 28/10/2021.
