The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Annai Vailankanni College of Engineering, conducted A One Day Webinar on “Opportunities in the field of the Artificial Intelligence and Data Science” on 28th August,2021 to create a platform to enhance the technical skills of the students on latest technology.
Dr. A.Benham, principal, AVCE inaugurated the webinar and also motivated the students with his speech and explained that these kinds of webinars are beneficial for their upcoming placements and technical knowledge. Mrs. M. Anugraha, HOD/CSE introduced the resource people Mr. Ananthram K Consultant, New Relic Inc. & Co-Founder, Parijatham. Mrs. S. Berlin Shaheema, Coordinator, HOD/AI&DS welcomed the gathering. The resource people discussed on the reason why AI/DS and why It is a hot topic right now. They also shed lights on the concept of Artificial Intelligence and its applications with real world examples.
Around 150 students participated from our college. The valedictory function started with Ms Asia Juliet of IIIyear/CSE and Mr Amal of IIyear AI&DS sharing their experiences of the one-day webinar and how they got benefitted. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by Mrs. Anisha Gnana Vincy, AP/CSE.
