FRESHER's DAY-2024

 4th September 2024

The 4th of September 2024 was a memorable day in the life of every fresher of academic year 2024-2025 batch at Annai Vailankanni College of Engineering. The fresher’s day was filled with excitement, joy, enthusiasm, laughter and happiness. It is the day where seniors and juniors finally bond and unite to celebrate being part of the college. Students were welcomed with the so much of enthusiasm by our Seniors. The program started with Tamil Thai Vaazhthu. 

“Light is considered as very sacred and a symbol of prosperity, in the same way as sunlight not only dispels the darkness of night, it brings blessings and happiness into our lives. The inauguration of the event started by Lightening the lamp along with the blessings of Almighty by our dignitaries Dr.D.PeterJesudhas(Chairman), Very Rev.Fr.Christu Rajamony M Vicar Forane (Devasahayam Mount, Aralvaimozhi), Mr.Y.Manoj Babu, Headmaster, Salvation Army Hr. Sec.School, VettornimadamDr.AngelinePrabhavathy(Principal),Dr.N.Abilash(VicePrincipal),Dr.G.GoldingSheeba(HODS&H),Mr.Manikandan.B(Manager),Er.DavidPhilipDaniel(Director),Parents & Freshers. The program was hosted by Mrs.S.Bharathi, Asst. Prof. of English. Our  students, Ms.R.T.Monika (IV-CSE) & Swetha.S(IV-CIVIL) welcomed the gathering by their outstanding rhythmic performance, followed by the Welcome Speech of Dr.G.Golding Sheeba, HOD of Science & Humanities.

The Chief Guest, Very.Rev.Fr.ChristuRajamony&Guest of Honour addressed the gathering with inspirational thoughts. They were honoured with a memento & shawl by our management. Principal, Dr.Angeline Prabhavathy introduced our College to the crowd, followed by the feedback by Senior students, Ms.R.T.Monika(IV-CSE)&Ms.Monisha (IV-AI&DS). The rules & regulations of our college was given by Vice-Principal, Dr.N.Abilash.Vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs.ShijulaLindry, Asst.Prof. of Chemistry. The meeting ended up with National Anthem.
