Hands on Training in Multi Rotor Drone UAVs

The department  of  Mechanical Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering jointly conducted  a 2 days workshop  on “Multi Rotor Drone UAVs” from 11/11/2024 to 12/11/2024 . Er.Sathya Kokila,CEO-Vaango Aerospace  Institute, Madurai  is the chief guest of the Workshop. The  2 days workshop started with  the inaugural function in the AVCE Auditorium  at 10.00 am .The Respected Principal Dr.Angeline Prabhavathy honored the function with her presence. Then the session began with the technical and theoretical aspects of drone. The speaker gave a presentation and spoke about the process of the drone. The speaker taking about the various component of a drone that included the fight control board, frame, PLDC motor etc. Then the student are divided into 20 teams, each team had to assemble their own drones and kit. The instructor gave the instruction, and then we arranged the drones followed by their instruction. For the next half of the day, the students finished assembly and disassembly their drones.

 The final day of the drone workshop the students were given a drone simulator using their PC and VC so that they get used to controlling the drone, move the drone while in flight, get it to rotate and keep it levitating in air. The student  were taken to an open area of the campus and begin the actual aviation session of the drone. All the attendees will be provide with participant certificate .Vote of thanks was given by Mechanical student.
