Youth Red Cross and
NSS of Annai Vailankanni college of
Engineering jointly organized a one day blood donation camp on 16/10/2025 in
association with Government medical college Hospital, Kanyakumari.Dr. M.K.RAKESH
MD, District Blood Transfusion Officer,
Government medical college Hospital, is the chief guest of the camp. The
program started sharply at 10.00 am on 16th October 2025. The YRC
staff coordinator Mrs.J.Soniya,AP/BME welcomed the chief guests and dignitaries
to the program. The vice Principal Dr.N.Abilash presided over the function with
the presidential address. Dr. RAKESH MBBS, Blood Bank Medical Officer,
Government medical college Hospital addressed the awareness of blood donation
and given a speech about impact of blood donation to the students. Finally, 46
blood donors are donated blood in this camp and students participated eagerly. We heartily
congratulated the Management of AVCE, YRC Student & NSS Volunteers and the team members of Government
Medical College hospital, Kanyakumari to be a part of this social event.
