The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of
AVCE conducted a National Level Technical Symposium “STACN-2K25” on the 8th of October
2025. The Convenor of the event was Dr.T.Dhanushya, AP/ECE and the Coordinator of
the event was Mrs.E.Rajeswari, AP/ECE.
Various events such as Paper Pesentation,Poster Xhibit,Electro
Vision,Project Expo,Melody Rush were organised. The Staff and Students of ECE
Department participated in various committees like Reception, Refreshment,
Hospitality, Event Organisation, Prize Distribution, Certificate Designing etc.
100 students from various institutions participated in the symposium and
exposed their talents.
The inaugural ceremony started at 9.30 am with the Tamil Thai
Vaalthu, followed by Lighting of Kuthuvillaku. The Welcome address was proposed
by Ms.Selva Bharathi, Final Year ECE. The Presidential address was delivered by
Dr. Angeline Prabavathy, Principal of AVCE. The Chief Guest of “STACN 2K25” was
Mrs.Merin Vincy,Asst.Head,ZitAcad,Nagercoil.
The Session continued with various events. In the Valedictory
function, the winners were awarded with certificates and cash awards by the
Principal Dr. R.Angeline Prabavathy and Vice Principal . D.Abilash. The Vote of
Thanks was delivered by the student coordinator Ms.Thillai Divya, III year ECE
and the valedictory function was concluded with the National Anthem.
