7th January 2026
The Department of
Science & Humanities in association with the Robotics Club of Annai
Vailankanni College of Engineering successfully organized a Students Skill
Development Program on “End-to-End PCB Development (Hands-on Training)” on 06th
and 07th January 2026.
The program was
designed to provide students with practical exposure to Printed Circuit Board
(PCB) design and development, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge
and real-time industrial applications. Students were trained in using PCB
design software and were guided step-by-step through schematic creation,
component placement, routing techniques, and layout optimization.
Practical sessions were
conducted where students actively participated in designing and assembling PCB
circuits under expert guidance. Emphasis was given to real-time industry use
cases, enabling students to understand the practical challenges involved in PCB
Objectives of the
Program
·
To introduce students to PCB design
concepts and tools
·
To provide hands-on experience in
schematic design and PCB layout
·
To familiarize students with
industry-standard PCB development processes
·
To enhance technical skills and
employability of students
·
To encourage innovation and practical
learning
