The Department of Management Studies of Annai Vailankanni College of Engineering organized a webinar on “AI-Driven Recruitment: From Resume Screening to Predictive Hiring” on 06th February 2026 (Friday) from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.The resource person for the webinar was Dr. G. Revathy M.E., Ph.D, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Vels Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies. She explained how Artificial Intelligence is used in recruitment processes such as resume screening, candidate shortlisting,and predictive hiring. The session highlighted the importance of AI in human resource management and modern hiring techniques.

 The webinar was coordinated by Mrs. Ahashini Kumar, Mrs. Kalaivani, and Mrs. Antoinette Helga. The program was supported by Mrs. M. Morrin Gracida (HOD), Mrs. N. Deena (Dean), and Dr. R. Angeline Prabhavathy (Principal).The webinar was very informative and useful for students. Participants gained knowledge about AI applications in recruitment and future trends in hiring systems.
