A sexual Harrasment
Program on women was organized by the Posh cell of Annai Vailankanni College of Engineering on 28-10-2024 . It
has created an awareness and understanding among the girl students and female staff. The program started with a
prayer song by the students. The Convener of the program Dr.G.Golding Sheeba welcomed the gathering.
The chief guest Mrs.
Santhakumari Inspector of Police all women police station, kanyakumari , was honoured
by the Dean Mrs.Anon.K.Jenifer, and Mrs. Shijula

S& H department honoured the guest Mrs. Renolyn sub Inspector of Police with a shawl,
all women police station kanyakumari. The chief
guest and guest of honour clearly
explained and counselled the students
about sexual harassment , also she gave many
instructions and the ideas to overcome
during critical situations. She clarified the doubts raised by the students at the end of the session. Around 50girl students have
participated in this programme. The programme was concluded with the vote of thanks
by Mrs. Shijula Lindry, AP/S&H.
