Workshop on Industrial Safety

 

 The Safety Club of AVCE organized a “One Day Workshop on Industrial Safety” on 29-10-2024. A practical goal of industrial safety is to lighten the environmental impact on the manufacturing unit and each person and the role of the industrial safety professionals is to find leverage or opportunities for considerable improvement using practical effort. The resource persons for the Training was Mr. Arunachalam (Safety & Heavy Driver Refresh Course Instructor). Mr. N.Manikandan, Assistant Professor of mechanical engineering, organized the event. Mr. VidskaRigin, a third-year Mechanical Engineering student, gave the welcome address, and Mr. Rajamani, II Year Mechanical, gave the vote of thanks. The  resource person explained about the the alarming rate of industrial accidents happening every year, industrial safety is a crucial step save human lives. Moreover, workers must be educated on how to handle the equipment and basic safety procedures for adequate safety. It is also the responsibility of an employer to be ethical and create a safe working environment

 Final year, third year and second years Students of mechanical engineering, Biomedical, Civil, & M.B.A. registered for the event, and approximately 97 students attended the workshop.
