TWO DAY WORKSHOP ON ADVANCEMENTS IN ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY

   The Institution’s Innovation Council of  AVCE organised “TWO DAY WORKSHOP ON       ADVANCEMENTS ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY” on 21^st&22^nd october2024.First day of workshop was conducted in auditorium of Annai Vailankanni  College of Engineering.Dr.R.Angeline Prabhavathy, Principal delivered the presidential address, Dr.N.Abilash Vice-Principal  introduced the chief guest and welcomed the gathering,Dr.A.Johnny Varghese,Associate Professor  Department of Mechanical Engineering proposed the vote of thanks.Mr. Ravi R.R,Assistant Professor Department of Mechanical Engineering coordinated the program and made all arrangements.

             The resource person for the workshop was Dr.K.Giridharan,A.M.I.E,M.E,Ph.D retired scientist and joint director,DRDO,Ministry of Defence.All final year and first year students pariticipated in the the forenoon session, third year and second year students in the afternoon session.Resource person explained the important fundamental principles of science and explained how these principles are used in advanced defence projects.He demonstrated these principles using various experiments.The workshop demonstrated the principle of experimental learning and provided practical tools and techniques for implementing it.
