Workshop on “Cloud Computing for E-Commerce”

        A workshop on “Cloud Computing for E-Commerce” was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering on 23rd July 2026 at 10:00 AM.      Mr. Ganesh G provided students with practical knowledge of how cloud computing technologies support and enhance modern e-commerce platforms. The program aimed to familiarize participants with the role of cloud infrastructure, cloud-based applications, data storage, security, scalability, and deployment in online business environments. The workshop introduced the fundamentals of cloud computing and explored its applications in various e-commerce activities, including online product management, customer data management, payment processing, inventory management, recommendation systems, and website hosting. Through theoretical concepts, practical examples, and interactive sessions, students gained a better understanding of how cloud technologies are utilized by modern e-commerce organizations to deliver efficient and reliable digital services. The sessions also highlighted the importance of cloud security, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency in developing and managing e-commerce applications.
